WHAT IS ELIQUID?

Whether you are a newbie or a veteran to the world of vape juices, you likely have questions about eliquid. Vapor 42 is your answer to everything vape.

What is eLiquid?

Eliquid is the fluid that is inserted into a vape pen to give it flavor. The vape pen heats up the e-liquid and turns it into a vapor when you inhale.

Unlike traditional cigarettes, electronic cigarettes do not contain harmful ingredients such as tobacco, tar, or carbon monoxide. Eliquid is made up of water, flavorings, and propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerin (VG).

What is propylene glycol (PG)?

Propylene Glycol is considered the flavor carrier in an eliquid formula. It is a clear liquid with a syrup consistency that has no odor and no taste. It is commonly used in food products, various medicines, dyes, and adhesives.

What is vegetable glycerin (VG)?

Vegetable glycerin is a colorless and odorless vegetable based liquid used in eliquids. It is thicker, sweeter, and more viscous than PG. VG is commonly found in cough syrups, toothpaste, ointments, and food flavorings.

Vegetable Glycerin is a sweet, thick, vegetable based liquid. 100% VG base is very thick and hard to smoke effectively. A combined PG/VG blend is recommended. Vegetable Glycerin is non toxic.

Is PG or VG better in eLiquid?

Most eliquid formulas will have a combination of both PG and VG. Because VG is so thick, it is hard to smoke effectively by itself. The PG helps to dilute the thickness of the VG and carries the flavor to your throat.

Each bottle of eliquid will list what the ratio of each product is, such as 70%VG/30%PG or 90%VG/10%PG.

Both PG and VG are considered generally safe for use in food, drugs, and cosmetics according to the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).

What flavors are available?

Our premium elixirs span across seven different brands for a total of over 100 mouth watering flavors. You can find just about any flavor you want, such as fruity, sweet, sour, or even just the traditional tobacco flavor.

All of our eliquids have been handcrafted by our very own mixologist who has studied culinary arts for over 15 years and has spent the last seven years perfecting his eliquid recipes.

Is there nicotine in eliquid?

Some eliquids contain nicotine, while others do not. The choice is yours. Vapor 42 offers a wide selection so you’ll always be able to find the right vape liquid for you.

We offer our eliquids in different nicotine strengths. Each bottle contains a label that displays how much nicotine content is in the formula.
  • None – 0mg Nicotine
  • “Extra Light” – 1.5mg Nicotine
  • “Light” – 3mg Nicotine
  • “Medium” – 6mg Nicotine
  • “Strong” – 12mg Nicotine
  • “Extra Strong” – 18mg Nicotine

How do I choose the right eliquid?

The best way to choose an eliquid is to visit your local vape shop and chat with the staff about your interests and what you’re looking for in an eliquid.
