Vapor 42 is a locally owned vape shop serving the Tri-Cities region of Tennessee and Virginia. Our Johnson City store is at 2606 W Market St, Johnson City, TN 37604, phone (423) 497-0001. Our Bristol store is at 4224 Lee Hwy, Bristol, VA 24202, phone (276) 582-0088. Both stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. We carry devices, pod systems, disposables, atomizers, coils, batteries and accessories, plus premium e-liquid from our sister company, Sector 42 Labs. Customers must be 21 or older and valid ID is required for every purchase. We sell in store only and do not ship.
Before there was a Vapor 42, there was Cold Smoke Vapor Works: a little vape shop in Bristol, Virginia, opened in 2012 on a simple idea — real advice, fair prices, and staff who vape what they sell. That shop is where the crew, the mixing bench and the “come hang out” energy all come from.
We couldn’t find liquids we loved at prices that made sense — so we built a lab in that first store and started mixing our own that same year. When Vapor 42 launched in 2018, the bench became our sister company, Sector 42 Labs — and when Johnson City opened, we built Sector a bigger lab. Today it’s a premium lineup of 100+ flavors across a dozen brands that stands shoulder to shoulder with any national name on the wall.
In 2018 we closed the Cold Smoke chapter and launched Vapor 42 — same people, bigger ambition, and the answer to everything vape. Johnson City opened in 2020, then Piney Flats a year later, and at the same time Bristol moved into its new, bigger home on Lee Hwy.
