How squonking works

Press and hold squeeze.

The whole trick in one motion. Juice lives in a soft bottle inside the mod; give it a squeeze and juice rises through a hollow 510 pin into the RDA’s well, soaking the cotton from underneath. Let go, and the bottle pulls the excess back down. Then you just vape — one squeeze is good for several hits, and you squeeze again when the cotton starts to dry out and the flavor fades. No dripping, no tank, no gurgle.

  3. ReleaseBottle re-inflates, pulling extra juice back down. No flooding.

Squonk questions

Will any RDA work on a squonk mod?

Any RDA that comes with (or accepts) a hollow bottom-feed 510 pin. Most of ours include one. Deep-well single-coil drippers squonk best; shallow dual-coil clouders flood easily.

How much — and how often — do I squeeze?

Less than you think. One gentle squeeze until you see juice reach the cotton, then let go so the bottle pulls the extra back down. That squeeze is good for several hits; squeeze again when the flavor starts to thin out or the cotton looks pale. Over-squeeze and it leaks out the airflow — we’ll show you the feel in store.

What juice works best for squonking?

Anything 70/30 VG or thinner flows well; max-VG syrupy juice can be slow in the bottle. Sector 42 Labs 70/30 blends are made for it. Avoid heavily sweetened juice if you hate cleaning bottles.

How do I fill and clean the bottle?

Pull the bottle, squeeze, dip the tube in your juice bottle and release — or use a needle-tip refill bottle through the RDA’s airflow. Clean with warm water and dish soap; swap bottles when they cloud or stiffen (about monthly).

Regulated or mech for my first squonker?

Regulated. You get every bit of the flavor with a chip protecting the battery. Move to a mech once you build confidently and understand Ohm’s law and battery limits — and let us check your first build.

Why is my squonker leaking?

Usually over-squeezing, a shallow well, or airflow below the well line. Squeeze less, build a little higher on the posts, or try a deeper-well RDA. Bring it in — five minutes, usually free.
